Pulling the plug on the pre-election heave, we take inspiration from the 100 Greatest Frontmen Poll in Q Magazine. Their verdict? Knuckledragging slack-armed oik Liam Gallagher was number one. Bollocks to that, we say. Here's our first instalment: 20- Jim Kerr, Simple Minds
19- Ricky Wilson, Kaiser Chiefs
18- Jaz Coleman, Killing Joke
17- Paul Smith, Maximo Park
16- Damon Albarn, Blur
15- Paul Weller, The Jam/Style Council
14- Marc Almond, Soft Cell
13- Brett Anderson, Suede
12- Robert Plant, Led Zeppelin
11- John Lydon, Sex Pistols/P.i.L.

Rob Halford, I agree.
Ozzy Osbourne.
Freddie Mercury.
Billy Idol.
Jimmy Pursey.
Dunno what you've got in store for tomorrow but Robert Plant deserves the TOP FIVE at the very least...!
It was a fucking fix that Liam got that, he had an advert in for his new clobber range.
I read Q only for its reviews, anything else burns my eyes.
Liam Gallagher is a waste of space. I can just about understand a category of people liking Oasis, but him as the best frontmen of ALL TIME is just ridiculous. Of ALL TIME???!!!In the world?
I am so, so with you Stan.
